You have plenty of time. I am getting married before you and I don't have much but the hall booked. Go for it..

Re: Is it too late?
My SIL planned her wedding in six months. She ended up getting a great deal on the hall because she was flexible on the date. She got married at the Carriage House at the Milleridge Inn, paid, for a Sat. nite wedding $65 pp, all inclusive, meaning that included tax and tip, they included the flowers and cake. I think she upgraded the flowers a bit (a dozen roses instead of a half dozen). But what better deal for a Sat. nite?
I think some of these catering halls, when they get a cancellation, would rather fill the date and give you a great deal than have the hall go empty for the night and make nothing.
Good luck planning, and have fun !!!

Just go for it! You can defintiely do it. I'm going to a wedding this October that was planned in less than 6 months, and you'd have over a year!
