Is it too rude to..

Be having your wedding Labor day weekend and your shower memorial day weekend?
Do you think the shower should be on a different weekend or its not a big deal?

I wouldn't do the shower on a holiday weekend. - Not b/c it's 'rude' but b/c usually ONLY the women come to a shower so it's going to kill everyone's weekend plans.......

does the bride have a lot of OOT family?

I know mine is on Memorial Day weekend, because I have a lot of OOT friends and family, and my MOH figured there would be a better chance of them coming up for a 3 day weekend, rather than a regular 2 day weekend.
