Is it too soon to take classes....

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, and I apoloigize in advance for asking yet again, but I want to know if its too early to start to take some classes, like Lamaze, Child Prep and a BF'ing class. I am 23 weeks along, and I want to call Winthrop today to see if I can schedule it, but I am afraid I'll be told I'm too early. But with DH's work schedule, where he doesn't get home until after 10 some nights, its hard to take classes unless we know in advance.

Thanks.

Oh, and anyone take these classes at Winthrop and what were your thoughts?

It always sounded like LI classes fill up quickly. I am taking my one day Saturday Birthing class next week (I will be 33 wks) and my breastfeeding class Feb 27th (36 wks.) I called and scheduled the classes around 27 wks.

I'm 27 weeks and my Dr. suggested we get the ball rolling with classes and interviewing pediatricians! It's crazy how fast time goes by!

Thanks, I think I might just call. I am not one to procrastinate, and if I want to get classes convenient for us, I guess early is better.

This is exactly right....the earlier you call, the better choice you will have. Good luck and have fun - we always treated the nights we had our classes as 'date nights' and went out to eat either before or after
