Is it unreasonable to have a no p e n i s rule....
for my bachelorette party...
i am all for being surprised and my bm's doing what they want but i am really tripping about the thought of them even entertaining the thought of p e n i s straws or light up necklaces...i just think it's gross...
it's just not my thing...will i come off as too controlling....

It's what you want. I don't think you would look controlling at all. I didn't want that either. That's why we are doing a spa thing during the day and then dinner and drinks at night.

nah-if you don't want it just say so-it will only make you feel uncomfortable if you don't and they plan it like that

I think you have every right to tell them you absolutely do not want anything P related. I agree about the straws, cakes, etc. they're funny but tacky.

I don't really want any of that stuff at my B-party either. It all depends on what and how you tell them, just let them know you wanna have a great time and they can plan whatever they want for you, minus the P E N I S stuff... ...I plan on having the same talk with my girls...haha

I don't like those peen things either. I think it's weird and embarassing. At my sister's bachelorette party we had those peen straws and crap. She was mortified. We have a perverted friend that was in the bridal party that got all that stuff. It was kind of funny though.

I don't want any of it either
I did a bach party for my friend last year and I bought beads, whistles, shot glass necklaces, leis, blow up microphones, tiaras, wands, etc. It was a bunch of silly stuff but we had the best time with it! (and there was NO P stuff!!!!!)

I don't think that's too controlling - especially since I already told my girls that they better not have any of that stuff! I would be sooo embarrassed and they know better than to upset me
