Is it weird to plan your own Bachlorette Party?

I think I would like to plan my own Bachlorette Party, is that weird or unusal?

No we are doing a jack and jill one with both guys and girls. So we planned it ourselves! It was fun!!

I am planning on helping the girls out with the planning. Just to make it easier on them. Usually i am the one who plans all the parties and gets super crafty with things... so I just expect to help and it doens't bother me at all. So I don't think it's strange.

Me and my one BM have discussed what we would like to do, so in that sense I'm involved, but as it gets closer I think that she'll probably end up handling it.

Def not unusual. I think it's a good idea considering some girls may plan something that the bride doesn't like.

I would give guidance, but after all this wedding planning I think it's nice to have a night that is about you and you don't have to do anything.

My BP refuses to let me know where we are going and all I know is when....its not weird to want to be involved....I want to be involved for the bridal shower.

Not at all, I'm sure your BP will be happy they don't have to come up with something and then be worried about whether or not you'll like it, my MOH asked me and although I'm not planning it, I told her what I'd like and I'll help wherever I can, I think the only thing I left totally out of my control is my shower, and it's driving me insane!!!
