nope you arent weird - i either wanted to go alone or with my FH - i didnt want to take anyone else but i think thats b/c i was a little upset that i didnt have my mom to come with me

There were def times I wished I was alone when I went shopping. Sometimes I just wanted to put the dresses on without someone throwing in their 2 cents. I was happy that my mom and sister were with me when I found THE DRESS so I had that moment with them. I guess it just depended on my mood the day I went shopping.

I don't think it's weird - Just don't let the salespeople talk you into something that you are just not feeling. Stick to your guns. And take pics if they'll let you so that you can remember your top picks! I ended up going with FH's sister cuz she can be brutally honest - didn't want any of my friends blowing smoke up my arse :-P

I think that's fine to go by yourself--I actually like to shop by myself.
However, I sometimes find it a little off-putting when a bride takes people OTHER THAN their BMs or even mom. I find it all little weird and a little bit offensive.
