is it wierd to invite ex-coworkers/friends I haven't seen in a long time?
I worked at this place for 6-7 years...made strong friendships--I REALLY love these people BUT I am a lousy friend and I lost touch-- its been a few months since I've seen them (not a happy occasion-- someone we all knew passed away) --otherwise it's been about2-3 years since I worked with them-- is it weird to want them at the wedding?

If you have the budget to allow them to be invited then I say it is OK. If you feel like they should be invited then you should invite them, if they don't want to come then they won't but at least you won't run into them in a few months and them be surprised that you are married.

I don't think it's weird to want them there at all! You spent several years working with these people. Relationships that are formed at work are significant! I would invite them if you want!
