Is it worth it to check out Bridal locations that do it all?
Can you make different packages for the pix, flowers, limos etc...? Is it even worth the effort to consider one of these places? Thank you in advance.

Well, if you can wait till July 5th, I will tell you how the Commack Wedding Center's package is. There invite and favor package was BS for us since we would have so many add ons since our guest list is huge and we are having a ton of single guys coming.. But we are doing our video, and photography, and rings through them and wait on yeah I think my mom used my favor package and gave it to my MOH for my shower favors... I'm a bit worried, but I believe it will be ok. I am having the owner and wife of Pro line studios as guests at my wedding so they plan on keeping my photographer in line.. or possibly taking a few shots on there own.. ?Laurie

Price wise was it worh it? Did you compare prices with individual vendors? My most important items are photography and the DJ. The ones that I am not going to go 'all out' on are the flowers, video and favors and stuff b/c these items will either get tossed anyway, or sit and collect dust. Thanks in advance!!

Our video we could careless of, were the family that never had a camcorder so naturally we don't really see a need. So, the video guy is coming to the church and the reception to tape. I have been to weddings were tapes came out awesome but the guy was so annoying. We saw his lighting it doesn't seem obtrusive. Picturewise, I loved there digital album and all of there examples look great so we paid more for that and I think because of that we are getting a better grade photographer since it's harder.. who knows.. Actually tonight my mom and I are going in to speak with Bob and drop some stuff from the package and we will see if it really is a deal or not.. I think he's packages are great if you have 125 to 150 guests unfortuntly we do not. We got out invites, favors, gifts, mailbox and all that good stuff from Diana at Crystal Internation Gifts it's a mile from my house! Also you might want to ask Diana I think she might have packages for limos and whatnot. The most important to us was our church and our DJ then pictures then invites..etc etc I have some great prices from vendor who I love.. so after July 5th I will post more! Laurie

Commack Wedding Centers- It is closed on Sundays
I went with my Mom to look at a dress and they are closed on Sundays. I was a bit surprised since many brides do stuff on the weekends. Just thought I would let you know in case you plan to go.

I actually added them to my list of 'to see'. Would anyone like to share whether the rates you get from individual vendors are more/less expensive than a bridal center? I am trying to cut costs anyway I can, if this is the avenue I need to take I will have no choice. Thanks!Welcome New Vendors
