Is it wrong to plan my own bachorlorette party ? i was talking to my MOH last night, and we were discussing the BP, I was telling her how I want it and she said she was offended. Says that I should leave that up to her and trust her enough to throw a party to my liking.
I still feel the urge to plan this. am i wrong ?

You are a bride-to-be, planning things is running through your veins right now!! However, it might be nice to let your girlfriends plan the bachelorette party, but just be sure to express what you want and don't want.
I'm a control freak sometimes, but I know it will mean a lot to my girls to plan this occasion for me! let us knw how it goes!

I'd say let them do all of the legwork. However, I don't there's anything wrong for you to give input on what you want to do. After all what would happens if they plan something you don't like.
Some people just like to feel involved even if you give the ideas.

I don't think it's wrong to let them know what you like. I wouldn't tell them exactley how to do it but I think it's fine to fill them in on what your ideas are....keep in mind that they are the ones paying for your BParty.

Re: Is it wrong ?
I dont think its wrong at all. I personally dont want to plan it. But with that being said i've made it known ideas that i have and things that i do not want done, ie strippers.

I don't think it's wrong to let your MOH know what you like/don't like or what you want/don't want, but then leave the rest of the planning to her.
I've told my MOH what I would like to do, and now I am leaving the rest up to her.

absolutely not wrong. i refuse to have anyone else even attempt to do it. i'd rather do everything myself.

Re: Is it wrong ?
i want to plan mine as well. i sort of started making plans and then my MOH told me that the BP usually does it... i think she might have been offended as well. but the way i see it... she is planning the shower and stuff i should get to have some say in my last 'hurrah' or whatever you know?

i think you should let your girls plan it if they want to. you have tons of other things on your mind!

Re: Is it wrong ?
i think its so hard as a bride to let go of the reins and let someone else lead. so i understand your desire to want to plan--so its not WRONG to want to plan it.
but i think it would be nice if you let them know certain things you don't want or do, and then let them handle it from there. my sister did my bach. party and it was great. i let her know what i did or didn't want, and she took it from there. it was nice to not have to plan things for once!

Re: Is it wrong ?
Maybe you can give your MOH some suggestions, but then let her actually do the planning. I think you should let there be some surprise element to it.

Re: Is it wrong ?
I want to plan EVERYTHING! Like down to the amount of times people are allowed to use the bathroom the night of my wedding as for them not to miss anything!
So I can't say you're wrong

Re: Is it wrong ?
it should ultimately be your decision and they they should plan what you wanted. Are they thinking of something other than what you wanted?
