Is it wrong...???

I met with only one DJ and I am going with him... now I am going to meet with a photographer whos work I love and Im affraid I am going to book with them too...

I feel like I am just limiting myself... Im having an internal conflict now, HELP!

I don't think it's wrong at all!!! This is how I chose my vendors - I used recommendations on here... personal recommendations... I went to see the vendors - if we liked what they have to offer, we booked them... For video we did go home and think about it, but the next day we were there writing a check. Photographer we already knew how Cassarino was - family, friends have used them. So we booked them right away. The band we chose I saw with my mom first, if FH was with me that night we probably would've booked them the first time too! I think if you are unsure about something you'll know. But if you are absolutely comfortable with that vendor go with them! If we looked at 5 different photog. 5 different vid., bands, etc. I think that might have caused a problem for us!

Edited to say: If you feel like you are limiting yourself, there is nothing wrong with holding off on booking a vendor and meeting with others. It's your wedding. You have to be sure who you want.

I dont think its wrong either, I only meet with one Photographer, who I got reviews from here.

you are doing so much, it time consuming to meet with lots and if you feel its right then stick with it, the more you go to the more you may be confused.

i limited number of vendors i went to see with everything.

I didnt limit number of wedding dresses and found myself at one point totally in limbo.

Thanks Oct - I feel great when Im there and Im so sure about everything but when I get home Im like 'Did I make the right decision or is there someone else out there who will offer me something better that Im gonna miss out on if I go with this person.'

I don't think its wrong. If you are totally think he will do the job don't doubt your decision. I wanted to book the first DJ I met because I fell in love with them but we decided we have to keep looking just incase. After meeting with several DJ's I booked one of them that I wasn't to happy with then I cancelled with them and ended up with the first DJ anyways. Who did you book?

I was like that too kp! But after a while I was driving myself crazy. I kept thinking about in school when the teachers always said NEVER change your first answer! So I stuck with that and so far so good!!!

Thanks girls for agreeing with me. Sometimes I'm afraid that I'm the only one with one solution and everyone else is different.

Latina I met with Tom from Spin Around Sound and he was what we were looking for 'no cheese' and I have an appointment with Imagine for Photography on Tuesday.

Well we all heard good things about Spin around Sounds and Imagine well they are amazing. I think you got great choices so don't doubt yourself or else you will drive yourself crazy. Just don't look back.

By no means continue looking because you feel like you should! You are one lucky gal if you found exactly what you wanted on the first meeting! The only reason to keep looking is if they don't meet all your needs. If the first one you meet is exactly what you are looking for, don't hesitate and book it! I definately think the best way to start looking is to seek out the reviews of others who have used them, but after that choose who you want. My idea of the perfect photographer for example is probably not the same as everyone elses. Good luck!
