i feel iam spending so much on other things like dress rh etc y not make sure i look good as heck i mean the makeup artist that ive looked at arent what iam looking for at all

I dont think it is wrong ...if that is what your budget allows ....but i think ur crazy....i think you should pay like maybe the most $200 ....then you can mail me a money order for $200 so i can put it towards mine ...lol.
Just kidding ...but i would def price around ....its ur day do what makes u happy. You def better post some pics i wanna see what a $400 make up job looks like . Good luck.

i dont think i personally want to spend that much money on make up, but if you have your heart set on it and you can afford it then get it, but i think you can find some great make up artists for like half the price and thats still a lot

Yikes! I have to think that you can find someone cheaper. Even if you pay $250, $150 can buy you a lot of wedding stuff!

Everybody has their things that they are willing to spend a little extra on for their wedding, and if yours happens to be makeup, I say go for it.

it's your wedding, you can spend whatever you want, but personally I would never spend that much on makeup. My SIL paid a little over $100 (maybe 125) and looked beautiful. I'm going to use the same person. There is a lot of other stuff that I could do with the other money.
