So after meeting with photographer he said i will have no time for a receiving line and that we will need to start picture asap. is this wrong? will people be upset if i dont have a receiving line?

My photographer said the same thing to me, if we want to get pics in the daylight. We will only have about 30 minutes until sunset. We will be attending part of our CH, so I think it will be ok. Just make sure you greet everyone at the wedding!! HTH!

It depends on how you feel about it as for me I would want the receiving line but if it is necessary and the pics you want interfere with it then scratch the receiving line
