Is it wrong that I have no interest in having sex with FH?

I lost all interst in sex, and it's mainly due to the fact that I had to do all the work and FH just lies there (if ya get my drift). I would like to lie there every once in a while, but Fh doesn't feel comfortable doing the work.

So we have not had sex in like 2 months or somethnig and I am not bothered by that at all.

um for me two months is a bit of a stretch...but i have gone about three weeks the most and i understand the feeling of being content with no sex
sometimes there is more to a relationship than the physical...as long as noone is withholding for punishment or out of anger i dont think its a problem

eta---my fh is the same, like me to do the 'work' so its gets boring and monotonous but its funny cause we talked about a magazine article that said guys are more likely to go out of their way sexually and romantically if women do little things for them

so i tried it out and its so true...jsut saying something like 'you look real sexy today' was enough to initiate something hours later

Umm, if you want an honest opinion, I'd be concerned. Can you talk to him about being more of an active participant? Does he complain it's been so long?

Well, I really think we will be too tired. After a long day, I don't think we will have the energy. I know a lot of people don't because it's just an insane day.

How about the Honeymoon?

Yeah, I guess. You see what I'm saying. I just have lost the need for it. Maybe something is wrong with me.

I wouldn't say that. It could just be that your overwhelmed with wedding planning or tired from your day and not in the mood. But, I would try to figure it out - is it that you are not interested in sex or maybe you're not satisfied - definetely things you and FH should talk about.

I have lost interest a bit too, but I am affraid to get pregnant. And i also feel so over worked with the wedding and work and all the drama.

every relationship is different, and it's not for me to judge. However, I see sex as a physical expression of what is going on emotionally. If you are not having sex for a long time, you are not neccesarily 'connecting.' There are, of course, extenuating circumstances, and I think married couples go through stuff like this all the time, once kids come along and stuff. But you are engaged! FH and I are both very busy, but always find our way back to each other at least once a week to 'connect' - it's absolutely neccesary for us.

Seriously though, Irene if you are not bothered by it (and Gary is not bothered by it) I think it's fine especially if this has happened before with no consequences. If your relationship is not as physical as some others, then it just is what it is.

I know FH and I go awhile some times because we are too busy or too tired (no more than a month or so), but we still want it and talk about it. You may not be that physical, but I think you should talk about it at least.

I agrree. Every relationship is different and doesn't need to be as physical. So, do what's right for you and keep the lines of communication open with your FH.
