ask people on the invite to wear 'semi-formal' attire to a tent reception? People seem to have the impression that it's 'casual'....when we will be in gown and the guys are in tuxes. Is it wrong to have people dress up a little? It still is a wedding after all....

I'd say something like 'formal attire requested' or 'formal attire required' or something like that
