Is it wrong to be afraid of....

when it's time to BD again? I don't know why, but I'm scared to have 'realtions' with DH again..... I know he's good and ready, but he did say that he doesn't want to go through this again....

Nope, its COMPLETLY normal. I waited about a month to do anything with DH after my MC. Just please dont let him pressure you. Give him a bottle of lotion and a porno mag and tell him your not ready yet.

You've just been through something extremly tramatic. You need time to prepare yourself emotionally for the what-ifs of getting pregnant again. (BTW, to this day I still check to make sure Im not bleeding when I go to the bathroom... talk about scared for life!)

I had the same problem... I was absolutely terrified, especially because my bleeding started immediately after we BD'd. But, at the same time, because we just went through something so traumatic, I really needed that closeness with him... DH and I ended up BD'ing about one week after the miscarriage (5 days after the bleeding totally stopped), and although I was very cautious and scared, it was very cathartic...

My dr told me to wait 2 weeks and we did... I was nervous the first time but we eased into it. I'm not so much afraid of BD'ing again, now I'm afraid of when I do become PG again.. I'm terrified that I'll see blood! We've begun trying again this month, but it's incredible all the feelings and emotions you go through after a MC. We'll all make it and then we'll have a BABY GTG!

I have never experienced a mc but I wanted to say that everyone deals with trauma and stress and sadness differently. Sex is not helpful to everyone during times of extreme emotion. Just communication with your husand. I am sure he will wait until you feel that sharing yourself is okay for you again.
