Is it wrong to be the RSVP police?

2 weeks before the RSVP date? We really, really need at least 40 No's. Currently we have only 18, with 100 invites left outstanding. The majority of the outstanding invites are FH's extended family and friends. I know the friends enough to ask, but don't want to stalk his family. This is so frustrating!

Can you have his parents call the family members? I don;t know if it'd be right to start stalking them til after the RSVP date, though... I plan to have FH's mom call any family members that don't RSVP!

Well FH's mom has passed and his Dad isn't really someone I would ask to do that. Maybe his sisters.

You can always call as a 'reminder', but I would wait at least one week before the RSVP date.

I wouldn't yet....I think it will seem pushy. You can gently remind people in other conversations and things like that.....but I wouldn't directly call people yet....you will get a lot more in the next 2 weeks!
