Is it wrong to borrow someone's slip?

My close friend offered to let me use her slip for under my dress. She swore that she dosen't care and it really would save me some bucks - what do you think? (it's a full slip)

That is so funny that you should post this...my friend just gave me her slip yesterday to use for my wedding! She wore it for her wedding and borrowed if from her friend who got married before her. I dont think that there is anything wrong with it...I am actually very honored that she would want me to wear it!

Good! This makes me feel so much better! We are going tomorrow to make sure it is not too full for my dress.

Of course not - anything to save money. Why would that be wrong?

I was going to wear my FSIL's but now I think I am going to use my sisters because I like the waist on hers better. I told her I am giving it back so it is also going to be my 'Something Borrowed'

I borrowed my SIL's and even cut some of the fullness out of it!!! She didn't care! I mean, really, what is anyone ever going to use a slip like that for ever????

I have a friend that has let several friends and family members borrow her slip, after they are married they have their names and wedding date embroidered into the slip - it has 6 names now! It is such a great thing to pass on from one bride to another. Unfortunately, my dress isn't poufy so I can't wear it

I was going to borrow my friend's slip, but my dress doesnt need it. There's nothing wrong with that.

My FSIL offered me hers last night. I am so happy to save the money on that item. (And again, it's something borrowed )

As long as it works with the dress, go for it.
