Is Mia worth the money?

Please let me know if she is worth it she is pretty expensive - post pics or reviews - I am very picky and just want to make sure I am booking with the right person.

im sorry i dont have pics...i am soooo picky with makeup..i went to school for it...please trust me that she is amazing.. i loved what she did..she hads done a few of my friends makeup for their weddings as well... that is typically the going rate for a person traveling to u these days anyway.. and she books fast so get a trial appt set up so she'll hold your date... i was reading another post from u did u say it was $200 for a hair/makeup trial...i only paid $85 for just a makeup trial i cant imagine it being $200 for hair and makeup trial... r u sure its that much?..i heard her new rates for 2008 were $200 for makeup but how could it be $400 for the day of? im sorry im only getting makeup done so im not really sure but she is really good...

A few of my friends used her and highly recommended her. I heard she's really great. I tried to setup a trial with her for makeup, but after going back and forth with her for 2 months through email, I gave up. (I had also called, but she chose to respond and keep responding through email when trying to arrange an appt). Overall, it seems she's worth the money. Any of the brides that have used her have always raved about her.

As for me not getting an appt, I guess everything happens for a reason, because that led me to the person I'm using, Tori. She's a lot less than many other people, travels to you, and does an excellent job. I really like her, so I'm happy. If you're looking for something less expensive, I'd recommend Tori.

Yup $200 for a trial for hair and makeup. I think it was $300 or $350 for day of.

Mia was fabulous. I was in 2 weddings that she did hair/makeup for. If you do both it it $150 or $85 for either hair or makeup. If you take a look at some other vendors who are not as talented, you will realize this is VERY reasonable for a hair/makeup artist to come to YOU.

100% YES!!!!! She is amazing, hasdone many a bride on these boards. I used and LOVED her. Worth every single penny!!!

Yes for sure!!!!! I just got back from my hair and makeup trial with her and I am the MOB. She did a fabulous job (considering she was working on a 57 yr. old - LOL) My daughter did a second makeup trial (she had her hair and makeup trial last year) and just wanted to try the airbrushing (which I highly recommend!) and different colors on her eyes and boy did she look gorgeous!!!! She is an amazing artist!!!!!!!

She is great- in fact since I was teetering on the colors from my first trial she is letting me come in for a re-trial! I am going on the 15th. I will be sure to post pics of this one!
