I think when it is done with hot pink it is more summer. Like a tangerine.

i agree. depends on the mix. if you put in dark reds or burgundies, it will look fallish. but something like this could look summary:

I really think it depends on the surrounding colors. With pinks and greens, it is summery. But with reds nad browns, it is an autumn color.

i'm having an august wedding and my bridesmaids are wearing a burnt orange color. I think it can be incorporated into summer or fall

I really think it depends on what it is paired with. Orange with pinks and yellows=summer. Orange with reds and greens and yellows etc. = fall.

Fall comes to mind first. Coral which can sometimes look orange is more a summer color.

You could pair orange with plenty of other colors to make it for any time of the year. I used yellow flowers for a winter wedding.
