no- it has about 135 calories and omega 3 fatty acids which are great for you

Oprah eats it 4 times a week on her diet

salmon is so good for you...just make sure you get wild salmon, not farm raised. my dad's nutritionist friend told me the GROSSEST things about farm-raised fish....that it's grey and they add color to it to make it more appealing to eat

Salmon is great...eat it all you want. I agree-get the wild salmon. It's more money but so worth it.

tell me more about farm raised. i know the food they feed them, may not be so great, but what about the water the wild salmon grow up in? doesnt that have an effect on one, as well?

I don't eat any animal products because I'm a vegan, but my dad eats fish so I wanted to chcejk this thread out - this caught my eye - it's gross, but they do that to SO much of our food, it's sinful!!!

I know...there are so many additives, preservatives, etc. added to most of our food - it is so nasty.

About farm-raised fish...I guess you just have to think of it as unnatural....fish that is in its natural environment is always going to be the much healthier option....wild fish is packed with nutrients compared to the farm-raised fish, which by the time it gets to us is so processed that all the good things about eating it are virtually gone.
