Is sending back a response card really that difficult?

Is sending back a response card really that difficult?

My parents family and friends keep telling them if they're coming or not, so I keep saying, just tell them to send back the response card so I have the documentation in case we forget...

And my mom just keeps doing this

Yeah, well she's not the one keeping up with all this.

All of her friends are college educated, can't they just write their name, check a box, seal an envelope, and drop it in the mailbox?

Damnit, if I spent 6 or 7 hours on a saturday assembling these stupid things, the least they could do it drop the self-addressed stamped envelope in the mailbox.

I know how you feel!!! It is very frustrating! People wait till last minute, you should get a lot back the week of your response due date, and even after. For those who do not reply at all..... try to get someone on his side and someone on your side to help you out making phone calls at least 1 week after the response due date, and if you get no response, they are not going to come, just wipe them off the list! I was so disgusted with the NO return response issue. Hang in there!

I find it AMAZING that there are people in other countries that have walked with disabilities and at a very old age MILES through all sorts of horiffic weather conditions to VOTE but our lazy guests can't send back an RSVP card.

My cut off date was May 4th and my idiot cousin #3 (I have several) snet his back on May 29th.

It gets worse unfortunately...still waiting of 5 people who won't return my phone call asking if they are coming or not...I DON'T get it!

My FH thinkd that i am being annoying to want to know if someone is coming. I asked his mother 3 times to call them. they are holding up my place cards.

The people who are the closest to you are the last to send them in

I sent my invites out last week. Everyone keeps telling me how they got the invite and its so nice and blah blah blah. So my first question is always 'did you send back the rsvp?' Not ONE person has said 'yes, its in the mail' !

Good luck Deb, seems as though Im just starting the RSVP drama.

It seems the easier you make it for people...the harder it is for them...

I went thru the same thing. I guess receiving a stamp addressed / stamped envelope and having to check yes or no and write your name is very difficult now-adays

I don't know why! I received 2 cards for 2 weddings after mine and I found it quite easy and quick to do!

FH told his family yesterday to send back there response cards. They said ' are you kidding' then I got annoyed and said I did put stamps on them, they thought that was crazy so I said why did I even bother sending an invite. Some people just assume we know htey are coming, its so annoying
