I know Clomid is not on my Rx drug list so I was wondering if there are generics or other brands ... just in case ...

I am pretty sure I got the generic brand of clomid, I just finished taking the last one yesterday so the bottle is home, but my plan I believe Only pays for generic brands and it was covered, I will check what name is on the prescription tonight.

Thanks but don't bother
I just searched on the generic name and it's not covered, so I hope I don't need it!!!

wc, what insurance do you have?
even if it isn't covered, it's not terribly expensive, I think!

you can also try getting it from a pharmacy in canada. my cousin did that when he had to take that anti-fungal Rx (I think it's called Lomasil) as he doesn't have any insurance.
I just read an article about how to order from a canadian pharm in Woman's Day or Family Circle so maybe it's on their website.

My prescription plan covers it, but some dont because they think of it as a fertility drug. My dr. told me it runs about $5 a pill if your insurance doesnt cover it.

Okay, well at least it's not astronomically priced ... but I'll keep fingers crossed anyway that I won't need it!!

Costco pharmacy has pretty cheap prices - try there. You can check prices on line - we were searching for some things for my MIL and Costco was coming in cheap.
