About which side of the groom I sit on when we're at the reception? I'm doing my seating chart and I want to make sure I put my family on the correct side of me.
I don't think there is a rule. I sat to my husband's left, which is where my family happened to be. It wasn't a concious decision, I just sat down. I think because that's where the maitre'd led me first and helped me with my dress to sit.

Well, brides family gets the odd number tables, 1,3,5,7....grooms gets the even 2,4,6...so that will dictate for ya!
At our wedding - from the dais table - the brides family was on the right and the grooms family was on the left.
