to getting FH to help with the seating chart? I started placing my guests at certain tables. I know most of the people on FH's side but I am not 100% certain as to who should sit where. I need your advice ladies - what is the trick to make him sit down and place the?? (FYI my FH lives in North Carolina - so that makes it even harder)

Start off by saying 'I hope you don't mind, I put your best friend next to my 90 year old Grandmother and her friends'
Maybe he will get the hint!
What we did was, we had his Mom do the family on his side and her friends & my Mom do the same for my side. DH and I did our friends together. That way if one of his Mom's friends could not stand someone, it was her fault and not ours they sat together

I actually got everyone (FIL's, my parents and FI) to do the seating chart. Althought I had to rearrange it couple of times, but main people were seated initially.

Beer and more beer. Hide the video game system and tell him you won't tell him where it is until he helps. Tell him you're calling his mom to get embarrassing naked-butt baby pictures to show his friends. Threaten him with any of the following: dance lessons; driving his car; doing an extensive home repair project.
If none of these methods work, resort to handcuffs and/or duct tape and a sturdy chair.

FH is actually pushing me to work on the seating chart.
HELLO - we haven't even sent out our invites yet !! I don't want to do this twice.
I have a rough idea - he has to help me with this side because I don't know half of his family.
