While I was in the shower I started to feel INTENSE nausea. I got out, and the whole room felt weird. My vision got blurry and I felt limp, and was really afraid that I was going to faint. DH took me outside to get some fresh air and I was really pale, my lips even lost color. This all lasted around 20 minutes.
Is there ANYTHING like this going around?!?!?

I know my sister and her son just was sick with vomiting, and my sister said at times she really felt as though she was going to faint, so there is some kind of virus going around, and we also had people calling off work.

I really hope I am not getting that! I had plans to spend the day out with DH but so far I have been in bed all day.

My cousin just got over some kind of stomach virus last week, which her sister and her kids also caught. Not sure if it's something like that!

I just had a stomach virus this week. I was lightheaded and had the chills and muscle aches along with it.

about 5 students at the school i work in Has had a virus that has made them throw up and given them the flu

Thanks for your well wishes, everyone!
I am feeling a little better now but I was in bed the ENTIRE day. I have a burning feeling in my stomach that keeps going away and coming back I am hoping to feel even better tomorrow but I am afraid of getting that terribly awful sick feeling again

Just reading this now................
Last Saturday, DH was a mess. Woke up, fine and dandy...made a pot of coffee, went into the shower then.............. Started violently throwing up......dizzy, shaky, green...literally green, temp dropped, to the point where he should be dead...then suddenly...his temp spiked. Within 24 hours he was brand spankin new.
Then on Monday night at around 10p..........I lost it! Fever, throwing up, dizzy, 102 temp but freezing cold. Then within 18 hours....I felt like a million bucks.
I seriously think a virus is going around. Once DH had it, then I got it...2 more people that he works with got it and 3 more people in my building got it. I think there is a serious bug going around.

yes there is ... lst week i felt liek i was gonna pass out at work... my head was spinning.. i was hot cold, shakes and i was dizzy
all week others in the office were sick and calling out.

Go to the Doctor!!! The kids in the school I work in have had this virus for about 2 months now. The Kindergarten has been giving it back and forth to each other.

The virus going around is called norovirus and it's VERY contagious! It's the virus that people on cruiseships get. If you have symptoms like all of you are describing, you need to stay away from people for at least 2 days. Plenty of fluids, and rest. and WASH WASH WASH your hands ALOT! Feel better!
