Is there any way to find out someone's wedding date......

that got married at islip town hall in october of 1997.

I am making a special christmas present for my dad and his wife, and I don't know the exact date.

I was wondering if there is any way to find this out, without having to actually ask my dad or his wife.

I would call, or even better head on it -- if you look sincere that can only help. I wonder if that is considered public info or is somehow protected?

did they have a registry aywhere? If so, you may be able to look up the registry online and it will list the date!

Jen, they won't tell you. Since the records aren't public, they legally can't. We have this problem all the time when people call my office.

can you snoop? would there be anything with the date on it?? a photo album or something?

my dad kept the match book cover from my his wedding in his wallet, I have had to consult it in the past for anniversary cards.
