Is there someone you talk to that you can't help but reveal too much to?
There are times when I want to tell my mouth to stop talking!! And this is at work.
Usually I am a very private person and you need a crowbar to get information out of me but my director gets me talking sooo easily and I can't seem to stop. She talks about her personal life so much that I can't help but do the same. Agh!
Does this happen to anyone else or am I the only than that can't shut up?

My secretary asks incredibly prying questions that I have a hard time just saying none of your business too...I wind up telling her TMI and then she spreads it around the office...But she will be receiving a Guide to Retirement in her mailbox courtesy of me soon.

yea I have the same problem...and it's in my office also so this can cause some problems. I'm just a talkative person and when this one coworker starts asking personal questions I can't help but answer. I'm trying to tell myself to have some restraint.

I never shut up no matter who it is. If someone wants to listen to every aspect of my life, I will tell it.

Not that I can think of, but people I work with and random strangers have a tendency to tell me everything about their lives.
I know way too much information about some of my co-workers.

I suffer from this with select people, but I've learned to shut up... especially since it's come to bite me in the a$$ many times! I now know who to talk to, and who not to.

I have been known to tell strangers my life's troubles. Most recently, I think I have been telling more people about my recent layoff.
There have been other times in my life when I keep my mouth shut and don't tell anyone anything.
For me I think it depends on whether or not I have daily conversations with friends. If I am feeling lonely, I talk to anyone. If I have regular conversations with people who I care about, I don't feel the need to talk to strangers about my personal life.

I tell everyone everything...Its scary but I seem to have no shame, so I just talk about anything people will stop and listen about...Its free therapy in my opinion...lol
