Is there something wrong with the BB&B registry system?

Is there something wrong with the BB&B registry system?

I've been checking my registry just to see if my shower has started cookin' . Not a thing has been removed (except one thing I got from a friend months ago).

Then today I went there to buy gifts for a friend's registry. Her shower is in TWO weeks and not a thing has been removed! And she has the world's largest BP ever!

So..has anyone heard anything? Anything wrong with the system? The lady at my BB&B said it only prints out what's left on the registry- but I remember looking at her registry weeks ago and it seems about the same length.

ETA Ok I'm on crack - just went online and saw that a bunch of things of hers have been fulfilled.

But yo, when the heck is my shower gonna be?

I hope there is something wrong w/it. I don't mean to sound greedy, but I think my shower is tomorrow and only a few things are off of it. not the things I really need. I do realize that not everyone shops at the stores you registered for. Also, I did keep my shower list small, cause of $$ being tight for the bridal party.

BTW, 'I'm sure your shower will be great!!!

Just realx it will happen, you sound as bad as I do. I am getting married on the 11th and my shower is june 30th so it is a little bit early yet. So people might just be getting their invites to the shower, wait a few weeks before going into panic mode

That's not greedy at all!! I'd wonder the same thing! We spent all those hours registering, and that is WORK! We deserve it all! Seriously though- are you sure your shower is tomorrow?

I wouldn't say I'm into panic mode - it's more like the suspense is killing me! And I'm not all that into showers but I'm kinda like huh? Shouldn't it be in the works by now? I'm sure it will be awesome when it does happen! I like to play detective.

i did have a problem with my Linen n things registry. some things did not come off because at the shower i ended up with about 20 towels!!! and a friend of mine said when she bought her gift she went home and checked my registry online and all the stuff she bought did not come off!! she had to call the store and they took it off right away!!!

I think its my shower, because my friend (MOH) invited me to her twin's b'day party tomorrow and she mentioned it a month ago. She never brings it up that early. Also, its odd that she said to come at 1, when she usually has the parties around 3. I keep pressuring FH to just tell me so I can be a little dressier. I told him that I will pretend to be shocked but he won't give in. Would your FH tell you the truth if you pressured him?

Hang tight girls, I never had a problem with my registry therer, but some people made sure not to take it off the registry so I couldnt peek, of course they were the younger girls my age who just got married. Maybe they went in on something together, your day will be just amazing, dont worry........I always peeked tooo, You will all be so surprised......Its better that way......

I dont think anythings wrong with it. For my cousins wedding, I checked her registry all the time and people waited til the very last minute to go shopping. Literally what I bought her was the first thing to come off until a day before the shower. People just take their time.
