Is there such a thing as

a Wedding photographer for $1500? I want engagement photos and a book for myself with at least 70 photos. Maybe the parents books, not necessity. I don't need thank you cards. One enlargement as well.

Every where I call is over $2500.

I know its terrible but im thinking of not have a photographer. Part of me would rather have a photobooth. Im afraid i will regret it but i also dont want to miss a minute of my wedding getting pulled out for photos. Really having a hard time with this one. And really $2500 for proofs and a few pics. I just cant deal. I am in the wrong business.

I'm sure you can find a photographer to meet your budget, but you may have to consider not going to one these big wedding photographers that girls talk about. Consider looking for one with less experience, and you should be able to get a much lower price. Also some photographers may let you do an ala carte package and buy the album after the wedding. That may be a good option for you as well

Definately try Lighthouse Photography. They can work with any budget & can use 1 of their packages or create your own!!

YOu can find that price and even less if you dont have hem make albums and what not for you, just get all the rights toy our photos and a CD of your edited pictures and you can print them out yourself at a much cheaper price through Shutterfly or any other photo company.

Try Gina Esposito she has packages that are within your budget and shes an amazing photographer!

After the wedding all you have is your pictures. I would recommend thinking about having a photographer for your wedding. There are reasonable photographers out there. You can work out a timeframe with your photographer so you are not constantly being pulled away for pictures. HTH

I really and truly think you'll regret it. I love love love looking back at the photos and it truly brings me back to the day. That being said, you don't need to get all the bells and whistles! Try looking into Lighthouse Photography and LoveMore Photo!

absolutely you can find one for that price... you may have to do without engagement sessions, thank you cards and any extras...
but I suggest trying Fade to Black-Gil will do what he can to work with your budget
Chuck Marcy, A Beautiful Day Photography, Madison Ave are all decently priced and you could prob find somehting in your range with them as well.

I've been looking up and calling those those suggested. Lighthouse is an hour and 15 minutes away from Astoria, that's where my ceremony will take place... I don' tknow if they'll travel, but we'll see!

I think this is a big mistake that you will regret. You dint have take pics during your wedding...take them before or leave a little time between ceremony and reception. And if your still worried then don't take any professional pics with your bridal party. But you and FH should have at least a few professional pictures.

You can definitely find a photographer in your price range. Keep searching!!

I'm sure you can definitely find a photographer in your budget but you will have to go w/o a lot of the extras. Check out Gina Esposito. She has a few packages within your budget and she also allows you to buy an album after the wedding. Or you can just make sure whatever photographer you choose you get all of you pix on a cd so you can print your own album. Or at least print your own parent albums. Will turn out much cheaper. Also, I did see one of the 2012 brides who booked a photographer for like $600.. so you may want to check the 2012 boards.

Our photographer has a package for $1650, check out his website www.marekgutphoto.com He is located in Babylon and he definitely will travel. Let me know if you need more info! If u do contact him tell him that the Hill/Burke couple sent u

Also, someone told me proline is pretty inexpensive...
