Is there such a thing as a 'Second wave'? Warning: Gross

Just wondering what the hell takes guys so long to take a c**p? I mean is it really necessary to bring a freaking library in with you? And is there such a thing as a second wave like DH says?

Re: Is there such a thing as a 'Second wave'? Warning: Gross

Honestly, I think you are on to something - I think they like the alone time.

My question: Why do you want to sit and read in the smelly-ness for half an hour after you have finished doing your duty?

eta: no, my FH has never mentioned a 'second wave' as a factor in his bathroom time.

I get some of my best reading done in the restroom. The sink makes a great armrest.

As matter of fact, guess where I'm typing this right now on my laptop?

Well DH can be in there forever and when I ask what is taking so long he states he is waiting for the second wave to come, cause it always does.

DH and I both do some quality reading on the toilet. We have a huge stack of magazines in the bathroom to keep us entertained.

I agree.

DH has stacks of magazines on the counter behind the toilet and under the sink. In the morning he usually just takes a magazine, but in the evening he takes his law school books with him.

My only request is that he lets me read the magazine before it goes in the bathroom.
