Is this a cute idea? If so, HELP!

So I wanted to walk down the aisle to something creative and different. So while shopping with mom and FMIL, they suggested that to go along with my 'Godfather meets Hollywood Glam' theme, to see about finding a singer(s) to sing 'I only have eyes for you' from a Bronx Tale while walking down the aisle. I love the idea but whats your opinion? Is it still classy? It would have to be acapela too. If I am going to do, it has to be done the right way.

Also, Where can I find a singer(s) to do this? Someone suggested the singer from Ciao Baby. Help me! LOL I'm broke!!!! So he or they have to be fairly priced.

does your dj have any singers that they offer? maybe you could negotiate something with them

I like it, it's different. Does the church your having your ceremony have singers you could talk to? Or do you have anyone in your family who sings?

If not, I agree you should ask your DJ about it.

You are a genius!!!! That is such a perfect idea wow, it will be so memorable!! I bet your church has singers that they could set up or know someone, also asking the dj would be smart, good luck!!

The only thing is I am having my ceremony at the Surf Club. :( Why are things so difficult?

Anything can be done in a classy way. Esp if you can find different styles of the song.

For cheap but good.. the best bet would be is to go back to sewanahaka and see if they have singers who are in all county and stuff. For a HS studen even $100 would be enough.

FH LOVES that version of the song, I think its a cute idea. Our church wouldn't allow 'secular' music, but since you are having the ceremony at the RH you shouldn't have a problem, unless your officiant objects. You could also look into local college a cappella groups - maybe like Iona College or something. Just a shot in the dark. GL!!

i love this idea. and DEF think you should call the guy from ciao baby!!!! he doesnt start singing till 5pm, so he can do both!! whoohoo. really awesomr idea!
