I was quoted $2,290 for the following flowers, including delivery (4 locations) and tax. Please tell me if this is a decent price. I know NOTHING about what flowers should cost. FH and I think this is a decent quote, but my mom thinks it's outrageous. (FH and I are paying for the flowers.)
1 Bride's bouquet with roses, calla lilies, and stephanoitis 1 MOH bouquet with roses and blue delphinium 6 BM bouquets with roses and blue delphinium 1 calla lily groom's boutiniere 7 rose and blue delphinium bouts for GMs 2 rose bouts for fathers 2 pedestals for the church with roses, hydrangea, and blue delphinium 14 low CPs - 3 pillar candles surrounded by a wreath of roses, hydrangea, and blue delphinium
Thoughts on this price quote? It comes from a very highly recommended florist.
FWIW, the personals are costing about $950 and the church arrangements are costing $350. Each CP is costing me $85.

I think the price of your centerpieces may be a little high considering you are using candles and only a wreath of flowers. I got quoted $60 per centerpiece for a square vase (low) with roses and some other types of flowers.

I agree. The other prices are on target, but the cp's are definitely on the pricier side...

Re: Is this a decent price quote for flowers?
Even though it's a huge wreath? I've never seen wreath CPs with candles in the middle this big. They look to have about as many flowers as CPs without candles... however, if I have time, maybe I'll run to another store to see their prices.
I guess I didn't think it was so bad b/c it includes tax + free delivery... but I could be wrong!

No no!! It is a good price! I would just see if you could get the cp's down to $70/$75 each...

Sounds just right - the only one I'd negotiate on is the centerpieces - the candles usually bring up the price, so you can see if you can drop the price a bit by buying your own pillars - you can ask Hollie (hmpena) who had a similar CP through Signature Florist.

I think it's decent! You may be able to do a little better but it is not ridiculously overpriced!

After looking at 11 florists, I can tell you that the price for the cp is not unreasonable but you should try to talk them down to $75. I'm paying $85 for the same type of low cps but I talked her down like $20 on my high ones so I didn't bother with the smaller ones. I do think you are paying too much for the church flowers though. That's high if it's $350 for 2 arrangements.

personally the centerpieces seem expensive to me, some places start of high arrangements at 85$

Thank you SO MUCH for all of the advice ladies. I will see if I can get them to come down a bit on the CPs. (Like I said, I know nothing about flowers at all...)

FWIW, my CPs are a lot larger than the ones in these pics - I'd say at least double the size / amount of flowers.

The price you got is a really good price, thats not bad considering some quotes I have seen were over 4000

I think the pricing for the Cp's is a little high, but the overall quote seems pretty good!

That is very similar to my quotes. I have been to two florists so far and that is pretty much the same quote I was given.
It is outrageous how much flowers cost!

Re: Is this a decent price quote for flowers?
I am paying 300 for the church and am getting 2 arrangements and 8 rows of pews decorated. I also think the cps are too high.
