Is this a good April's Fool Joke

I was thinking of telling my boss that I am prego and that I will be leaving, is this too mean. We work in a small office and it is, him a secretary and myself?

i told my husband he put salt in my coffee

age old april fools day joke right??????

but he fell for it and we were dyin laughing this morning on the way to the train

edited to say i wouldnt tell your boss that unless you have that type of relationship w/him where hed 'get it'

what about telling him something like i dunno he forgot your birthday, you are planning to move out of state something like that???

Well the other day I was talking to him and told him to fire me and give me a bonus, becasue we have a client that had a w-2 for 6million and it was so high becasue of his severence package, and my boss told me that he wouldn't fire me!! SO i figured he would know I was lying.
