Hi Ladies,

Today I was quoted around 1200 for

Brides Boq
MoH Boq
3 BM Boq
2 mothers corsages
1 Grandmother Corsage
1 Grooms Boutonnière
1 Best Man Boutonnière
3 Usher Boutonnières
one fathers Boutonnière
5 high centerpieces
5 low centerpieces
rose petals for the Dias table, cake table and escort card table
Decorations for serving trays and such

The florist threw in the high candelabra rentals for free, we would be able to keep the low centerpieces, the flowers from the high and return the candelabras and reflects a 20% discount

Is this a decent quote, or would I be able to do better? I am a little hesitant, because its a blocked Vendor on here, but a recommended vendor for my hall.

I think that sounds like a great price, but I have also heard some bad things about them

while its a great price i wouldn't go with them...i've heard horrible things on here about that company AND they were on Shame On You

It's pricey, I think
A friend of mine has just been quoted 8 CPs and all other things for 1,000 (not including anything for the ceremony)

It sounds like a pretty good quote. And I'm pretty sure that includes any flower you want right?

Also, don't forget that this site isnt the only source of information on wedding vendors. Not being a vendor on here basically means absolutely nothing out in the real world. My friend used that company for her wedding and everying was not only perfect, not only gorgeous, but the flowers lasted for I don't know how long after the wedding - quite some time. They were awesome.

I think bad reviews get exaggerated on this board, don't let that deter you. It seems like one bad review turns into like 10 because people keep repeating it. That shame on you thing was way way back and they have since stepped up their game. Don't let the repitition of a bad experience deter you. There are popular florists on here that have more complaints BBB than this florist does....
