I just talked to a travel agent and she quoted me $3,070 pp for the following:
round trip airfare Honolulu- The Sheraton- 2 nights Mauia- The Hyatt - 4 nights, breakfast included and rent a car every day, garden view room Kauia- The Hyatt - 4 nights, breakfast inluded, rent a car every day and garden view Total 11 nights and 12 days from July 10 to the 21 and it would be a little over $6,000.
Does that sound good or not? Sorry for being so dumb about it but I dont know anyone who has been to Hawaii recently.

You are going at the same time I will be. I was worried that the prices would be more for the summer. Do you mind sharing who you got that quote from?? Thanks.

Re: Is this a good price for Hawaii?
We just went yesterday and were quoted 7,000 for 7 nights in Maui (Hyatt) and 5 nights in Kauia (Hyatt) Round trip airfare, breakfasts, and convertible. 12 nights- 13 days July 3rd-15th.
Yours sounds about right since its one less day and you're stopping at another island.

I travel a lot and find it easier to book vacations yourself. Be careful because travel agents will rip you off. For instance, when I went on a cruise in may, I went to a travel agent for a quote on flights. She gave me a quote of $340 PP round trip from JFK to Ft.Lauderdale. I called Southwest my self and got a round trip flight from Macarthur (more convient) for $ 165 PP. Look around and call airlines and hotels yourself. Thats how you will know if you got a good deal.

I agree with this. We looked into going to hawaii for 10 days and found flights and airfare totalling $2000 per person.
I think you sghould first try an online service such as expedia and see what the prices are for the exact same flights and hotels.
For the trip we booked, a travel agent gave me quote of $3375 per person. We got the trip at $2800 total (that's $1400 per person).

Re: Is this a good price for Hawaii?
Friend's of mine just got back from their honeymoon there and they said they spent TONS of money and would not recommend going there if it is not all inclusive because it is very expensive. But they said it was beautiful too of course, just recommend that you are at an all inclusive resort.
