Is this a good price for programs? Updated - new question at the bottom

I went to a LIW vendor to potentially have my programs printed. I wanted a simple, ivory, booklet-style program.

They quoted me $250 for 100, and almost six weeks to print (which means I need to order them ASAP). What do you think?

ETA: I'll take any vendor recommendations!

I wish I knew...hopefully some of the girls will know.

Hmmm that seems high but I dont have much to base it off of. Except that I am printing my own and it should only cost $25 tops.

If you are looking for something simple, I would say DIY- Michaels has program paper and templates online to help you set it up and its really easy and soo much cheaper

sorry i haven't looked into programs. But it does seem a little high for a simple program. Maybe check some other vendors...

Is there any ribbon on it? Is it flat printed? Color or black and white? What type of paper is it on? How is it being held together?A lot of diffrent things can affect thei price and remember you are also paying them to do all the formatting and layout for you as well as the assembly. So while you may be able to DIY for $50 you are not charging yourself for the labor etc.

There will be double-faced satin ribbon that holds the 2-pg booklet together. (Think two sheets of computer paper folded in half, with a cover). I have to assemble them. It'll be a flat print. I didn't want to DIY them b/c about half of my guests aren't Jewish and I wanted to include explanations of our ceremony customs, and it made the programs lengthy.

Should I cut it down and DIY them? Or is this a reasonable price for what I'm getting?

I mean I plan on DIYing them but I still find that price to be pretty high especially since you need to put them together anyway. I would shop around or consider DIYing but I do see what you're saying about the explanations of the customs. Good luck!

If its really regular computer paper and you have to assemble yourself than it isn't the greatest price. I think that would be a reasonable price for a nice linen cardstock with the ribbon, flat printed in black and white and fully assembled.

I think that's a little high. Also the delievery time seems a bit much. I got my wedding invites in less than 2 weeks. (200)

I would keep looking. good luck!

That does seem like a high price if it is only plain computer paper (nothing fancier or more costly) and if assembly and ribbons are not included.

IMO, that wouldn't be a bad price if the programs came completely assembled for you & were done using something nicer than plain computer paper.

Any invitation place should have them.

Also FullersBride (one who posted) - she owns some sort of design business - her company did something at TWOTY - I think the table numbers ???- but I remember them being very beautiful.

She's an LIW vendor too - I think her company name is Fleur Creations...
