I am paying same (Tommys Tunes).

You can definately get it cheaper if you are looking to save money.

it's just 4 hours of music, 1 tux'ed MC, and 1 tux'ed DJ.

we are tommy tunes as well. just wanted to know if it was a good price

I got 5 hours including a mini set up for cocktail hour, 1 dj/mc, and loads of giveaways for $745. You can definitely do better than that.

Honestly, I think that is a bit steep.

It really depends on how much you want and need.

We are using Vinny with High Voltage Sounds and his prices can't be beat! He gets only rave reviews on the boards.

If it is Tommy Tunes (highly reputable as well) and you feel comfortable with them, then go for it.

That is on the higher end, for $1000 I got a DJ and MC for 4 hours reception, coktail and ceremony music. I am using Ralph from Hi-Energy. My package is a little less than his smallest package because I opted for no lights or giveaways. I think his package with a basic light show and giveaways are around $1050.

You can definitely do better--especially in FEBRUARY!!! I got married in Feb and paid $1100 for 4 hours. I didn't have an MC, but the DJ did a great job on his own without an MC.

I would definitely play your mid-winter/low season for vendors card!

Seems high. Depending on what extras you want.

We have DJ/MC plus assistant, 5 hours incl CH, originally ceremony was included too but we changed ceremony form hall to a church. no lights or giveaways.

Ours is definitely less that what you were quoted.

I am using The Pros. I saw them recently at a showcase and they were good and seemed like a lot of fun.

I have 1hr coctail, 5 hrs reception, DJ, MC and a light show with favors for 1050. You can do better.

I got six hours - from ceremony to the end -(had ceremony and reception in one place) one DJ and one MC for $1000.

I am getting a DJ, 1 MC in tuxes. They are playing for 5 hours including my cocktail hour for 1300. I think $1795 is alot. I would do some more shopping around.

you can do better in price but i have seen tommys tunes in action and they are really good we are using them, i have been to 2 parties they have done and a bunch of showcases i loved them and they get people moving on the dance floor and are friendly and fun.
