We are paying $1500 for dj, mc, 5 hours of music and a sax player for the cocktail hour-no extra lighting, no extra anything...It would be less w/o the sax player...

We are paying 2500. That is for a live guitar and singer for cocktail hour, intelligent lights, a dj and mc and 4X6 screen with a video montage, and live video feeds throughout the night.
