Our hotel block at the Marriott, will not include breakfast. It is $13 a person. With all of our OOT guests, we would be paying close to $1000 ... Way out of budget. Would it be cheesy to say when booking ...would you like to join the bride and groom for breakfast and then tell them the price to add on ?

we have the same hotel with the same issue. i have been to weddings before and stayed over and the breakfast was not included, so i am used to it and didnt mind paying for breakfast. i think it will be fine.
Heyyyy...I know you are a CLMer too. So you have rooms blocked at the Marriott but you are not hosting a breakfast or anything...are you mentioning that there is breakfast at a fee?
I am still so lost...I wasnt planning on saying that I was hosting a breakfast and then burdening the guests with the cost. What I was really asking, and maybe its not that much different...was just making them aware that FH and I will be eating breakfast and they can come if they would like...grr I wish I was wealthy!

is there a way to get it added onto the rate that guests pay without them even knowing that they're actually p;aying for it??? I know some hotels do that for you!!!

Yeah, I think so... what if you just rented a conference room and then brought in bagels and OJ/coffee??? It can't be that much to rent out a conference room in a hotel on a weekend...
