Is this crazy?

I am so excited to go BM dress shopping, I think more excited than when I went dress shopping for me!

Any one have any tips? I'm going with my MoH (and sister), FSIL, FMIL, my mom, and 2 more BMs...

wow you're lucky! so many supporters! Its not crazy.. i actually went BM shopping before I went for my dress. The lady at the shop told me why wasn't I looking for mine, and ganged up with my mom and started getting gowns for me!

Enjoy it! Have fun! And don't forget YOU should determine what the girls will wear, don't let them sway your opinions!

I had all my girls travel to Long Island over the summer (August) to do our dress shopping. We went to Helen's Bridal Boutique in Commack. They were magnificent!
Two recommendations. Have the girls bring or wear a strapless bra at the fitting and have them bring heals the size they will be wearing at the wedding, so you can gain perception to the length of the dress at their feet. May be noticeable in wedding pictures.
I had gone to the designer's web site for alfred angelo to get ideas, so when I went to the boutique, I didn't have to waste anyone's time going through each dress. I took out about 5 dresses I was happy with and each girl tried one on and we voted together on what they liked and it was the first dress my MOH tried on that they all loved. I had chosen the dresses, so if they were going to spend the money, I wanted to make sure they would at least be happy with it.
Most importantly, have fun! Enjoy this time with your girls and mother's, as it is an experience you'll never forget. I had a similiar experience when I went shopping as I was so excited to have everyone together, I was more happy than when I went wedding dress shopping.

Let them try on lots of dresses, all different shapes and sizes. Even dresses you don't think you would pick, it may suprise you.I know it is your final descion, but make sure they are comfortable in the dress you pick.

We went to Bridal Suite of Centereach, great times.
Too many people. Turns out, only 1 designer makes th ecolor I want (moss green). So I am now hunting down shops that have the specific dress samples I need, and we will try again...

I got ot try on my dress though!
