I definitely think FSIL is being ridiculous. Maybe she's a little jealous and is trying to make this wonderful time hard for you. Some people just like to create drama, I have a few Drama Queens myself. Either way, I'm glad you aren't letting it spoil your fun time planning your wedding!

I think this is exactly what she's doing.....is she your FH's only sister? she might feel worse about not being a BM if she is. I'm having both of FH's sisters as BM's, do you normally get along with your FSIL?

uhhh YEA its nuts.
3/5 of my BM are MARRIED. only 2 are single. and my MOH is engaged.
so to me that is totally insane. shes just jealous that you're not having HER in the WP. immature shiooot

She is so jealous. No matter how this works out you should just stay out of it. Let FH deal with his sister. He should definitely tell her not to punish her daughters because she is upset. Good Luck!!!

I think she is jealous she wasn't asked to be a BM..
I was going to ask my cousin to be a groomsman.. but his wife said if I didn't have both of them.. he couldn't be in it..

That's just silly for her to act that way.. You shouldn't have to feel guilty or pressured into asking her. She's probably jealous but hey that's life. You have to cut the line off somewhere. That's just a stupid excuse, doesn't think it's appropriate..ppuhhlease!

sounds like a jealous person to me..... If you are secure in your marriage, someone walking with your husband in a wedding for 2 minutes wouldn't be a big deal...

Actually, my FMIL said something along the same line.......that it's inappropriate for married people to be in the wedding party - but that's crazy b/c they have MATRON of honor, which is married. I think it's ridiculous, maybe she's a little jealous?

She is being very dumb about it. What she is saying makes no sense. Don't let her get to you have you FH talk to him to talkt o his wife. You should just stay away from that ordeal.
