I know a girl in a bridal party who is being asked for soooooooooooo much. She is in a wedding and the bridal party has 13 girls The bride is demanding all of this...
$300 each girl for bridal shower and FLAT SCREEN TV (im sorry i didn't know you could register for this)
$300 house rental for bach weekend plus food and drink and travel expenses
$300 dress $75 air brushed makeup the girl picked the hair salon they have to go to and a hotel room the night before the wedding.
Im sorry but dont you think this bride is asking for a bit to much???

The bride is demanding a specific gift for the shower? That is very odd.
$300 for a bm dress sounds like alot.
$75 sounds reasonable for airbrushing, but should be up to the bm if they want to do their own or if they want to get it done.
Yeah, sounds like a bit much to ask for.

Sounds like a BRIDEZILLA!!!!!!!! I am sorry, but requesting a specific gift is so wrong....especially a flat screen TV! Also, while I don't think $75 for makeup is over the top, I think its kind of crazy that she is asking them to even get airbrushing. I mean, if they want it, that's one thing, but why would she assume all the girls would want to get airbrush done for her wedding? I think requesting specific makeup and hairstyles is just going too far.

The airbrushing is not a request. I just cant believe that someone can ask there bridal party for a flat sceen tv my first reaction was 'you can do that where do you register lol'

I'd imagine you can register for tv's at target...they sell everything.

It sounds like a bit much, but I bet if you sat down and tallied how much you've spent to be in weddings or how much your girls are spending on you, it probably wouldnt be far off! All of the little sh*t adds up!

Hmmn, if she wants all that & she's opening her wallet then I think it's fine.
This is what I'm doing & its not bridezillish b/c I offered to pay I'm really hard to please, and I want my shower a certain way, thus offering to plan, and pay for it. My girls laughed and just asked for an outline of suggestions.
I want them all to get mani & pedi's the night before at 'my' place. The owner is closeig to the public, and I'm paying.
I want them all to stay at Glen Cove Mansion in a suite (or 2) so we can get ready together the next morning, I'm paying.
If the dress cost includes alterations, I think it's average. My dress is $150-ish w/ alterations capped at $85.

If you're paying, or at least offering to pay, and your girls are okay with it, totally different story.

YES! ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS FOR THEM TO PAY FOR THEIR DRESS! I TOLD THEM ANY BLACK SHOES THEY WANT, I AM PAYING FOR THEIR HAIR/MAKEUP AS PART OF THE GIFT, AND IM NOT ASKING FOR A 'SHOWER' OR A ANYTHING.....
