Is this dress too formal/dressy for friend's wedding? POLL

I bought this dress today, and want to know if it may be too dressy for a one of my best guy friend's wedding. It's on a Sat night at the Bellport Country Club at the end of August. It looks like a pretty formal wedding, judging by the invitation.

I am also doing a hair/makeup trial for my own wedding that day. I think a sundress with an up-do would look a little weird...

I like it, I definitely think it's appropriate! If you feel wierd about it and you want to make it more casual, you can wear your hair down (not that that's even necessary but it's always an option)
