Is this dress too formal/dressy for friend's wedding? POLL

I bought this dress today, and want to know if it may be too dressy for a one of my best guy friend's wedding. It's on a Sat night at the Bellport Country Club at the end of August. It looks like a pretty formal wedding, judging by the invitation.

I am also doing a hair/makeup trial for my own wedding that day. I think a sundress with an up-do would look a little weird...

If it's going to be a formal wedding it's fine, if it's going to be a beachy affair it's too fancy.

Thanks so much. I got it at Macys.

Yea, its not a beachy wedding, it is at night at the Bellport Country Club. Thanks for all the replies..

Its pretty! But it might be too dressy if it isn't a black tie wedding...IMO
