I heard 10%. I dunno I heard it on z100 first when they were interviewing sookie, than I saw it in the paper...

what else are they going to tax? Nails? Hair? Botox? Boob enlargement?

its a luxury tax...and since we all know its not healthy, i dont really object to this tax either (dont mean to start but id rather them tax tanning/cigarettes than other items i use/need on a daily basis)

But it's a personal choice. Where does it end? Soon they are going to pass that stupid soda tax, too.

They tax food when we go out to eat so this doesn't sound like a big deal to me. JMO.

i dont think its a big deal.. if u can afford to tan, then a dollar extra on tax shouldnt be an issue. lol

i don't see a problem with it. when i get my Nails done & i pay with my debit card i am charged tax.

when places do not charge tax that means they are pocketing some of the money & not claiming what they actually make.
