I sent out all my invites including my bridesmaids. I get back one of my rsvp's from one of my bridesmaid saying she will not attend? Do you find this to be funny or am I overreacting?

She could've been doing it as a joke - but she should realize how serious brides take RSVPs. I say don't give a reaction at all. If she brings it up just say you didn't find it all that amusing and let it go.

No sense in making more of a deal than it really is.

She is trying to be funny. I didn't even send my BMs' rsvp cards because duh they are obviously going to be there lol didnt even mail em! So unceremonious lol we were at a diner and I just plunked the invites in their purses. They werent offended and you shouldn't be either. Its just wedding stress-lots of things make us alot more crazy then they should.

my brother made a funny actually...

my RSVP reads:

__Accept with pleasure

__Decline with regret


funny brother put a check next to accept crossed out pleasure and decline. so really it read: Accept with regret!

It happens! sometimes we get so sensitive as brides!

my friends had a GREAT sense of humor on RSVPs...one of them wrote all of it like next to the 'please reply by' part she wrote 'how dare you tell me what to do!' or on the part of accepts she wrote 'Acceepts with pleasure and will be drunk as hell'

another friend put funny stickers on it and wrote HELL YEAH!!! all over it.

im sure they are just trying to tease you alittle bit!
I am expecting at least one bridesmaid or groomsmen to do that !

I'm sure she's just joking...one of my FH grooms men put plus 10 guest and at the back of the RSVP card he put all the names of his friends with a big smiley face.

If it really bothers you, give her a call and just asked nicely.
