My FH's best friend from high school just called off her wedding. I already bought her shower gift, and I feel really weird getting a refund for it (I just can't bring myself to spend the money on something else because it's such a terrible situation).
I was thinking I might use the $$ I spent on the shower gift to get her a spa gift certificate. I know (from her conversations with my FH) that she hasn't even left her house since she called off the wedding, so I was hoping this might at least get her mind off it.
What do you think???

I think that is a great idea. Something that is for her, maybe you could get a few people together and make a girls day of it.

OMG! I don't know why you would think for a second this would be inappropriate!! I think it's a VERY thoughtful and heartfelt idea that will cheer her up a bit. Good for you!

I think that is a GREAT idea I am sure she will need a boost and is not in very good spirits right now.. maybe you can make it a girls afternoon I am sure she will have a lot to talk about
