I just got a call from my RH to set up my appointment to go over menu, seating, etc. I have not really spoken with them since I booked with them last year. That's fine. So I try to schedule an appointment and everyday that I am looking for is already booked. Now I wont have my first appointment with them until 2 weeks before the wedding. I told the lady that I tried calling 2 weeks ago to set up an appointment and was told that I couldnt until 6 weeks before my wedding. Now, it is 5 weeks before the wedding and I cant get in to see them and go over details until 2 weeks before the event. Am I over-reacting??? I told her I wanted to have my seating/menus done by then, but I cant do any of that until this meeting. . . . .

well i knew my menu already. The only things we went over was the food i choose for CH. But when i booked i picked the deluxe menu with 9 choices so i knew already since the day i booked. But yeah menu's didnt get done until the week of regardless hahaha. Just make sure you dont have too many things going on the last 2 weeks but to have them all printed, 2 weeks is enough time.

it all works out somehow. My to do list was so long at 2 weeks and i felt how will it get done but it just does. It will be fine

as long as you know what you want, you can start printing the menus. i had my menus done before i went in for our final meeting b/c i already had the dinner choices made. and i just did my placecards over the weekend. don't worry, you will have enough time!!

It works out and you will have time even if you go two weeks before the wedding. If you want and it would make you feel better ask someone if you can stop by and pick up a menu from there so that you have and idea what you would want for your menu.
My seating chart changed up until 2 days before the wedding so going in two weeks before is also enough time. Just bring your BM's to come and help you.
