Just would like everyones opinion....if they think its weird or not. Im trying to figure out what bridesmaid dress to get my girls. We all went on Saturday to try on and figure it out, and well there was just waaaay to many opinions. We got down to 2 and there are 4 that like one, the one I like the best and 2 that like another. And to make it worse the girls are saying negative things about the ones that they dont like. I want to know their opinions but just makes it harder. SOOO I made the descion to do it myself and Im going to go to bridal reflections and try them both on myself and make my descion.....is that weird I dont think so, because then I will know how they feel and how they look. these are the 2 that im deciding between a watters and watters dress and a bill levkoff I cant get the image but it bill levkoff style # 555 and Watters in WTOO style # 288...if anyone checks it out let me know!

i do not think it is weird..I took only two of my girls...they were honest and it was great..Can you maybe trust one persont o help you

I dont think it is weird at all...its actually a great idea and at least you have your own opinion of how it feels when it is on...too many opinions= too many problems

It's not weird. I tried to do the same thing. I brought all of my girls to get opinions and it worked out horribly. It is a nice gesture and i'm sure, like me, you wanted your girls to be happy and a part of the decision. Unfortunately, everyone's going to have a different taste of what is beautiful. In the end, you'll need to just make the decision and i'm sure they'll love whatever it is.
Just go with what you like. After many months of searching and trying to please everyone, i'm back at square one with the original dress I fell in love with and it turns out that all of my girls look beautiful in it!

Just my MOH and myself went to 'scout' for BM dresses. We tried to take into consideration everyone's body type when chosing a design, because they all are wearing the same one. Color wasn't an issue for us because we are going w/ black and champagne (our wedding colors).
I would try and make the decision yours alone or yours and your MOH. Hopefully the other girls will like your choice! Did you think about colors?? Sometimes people have the hardest time liking the color rather than the style of the dress picked for them.

I went to the dress place on my own with my mom and I made the decision. I emailed them for their opinion, but most of them agreed with me! It was easier to make the decision on my own than with 7 girls with different styles giving their opinion. It's not weird at all!

i dont think its wierd but i would just pick wichever one u really like, you cant please everyone, because if you keep worrying about eveyone else, your not going to be happy in the end because u will be saying see i shouldve gotten this one

I don't think it's weird...I actually tried on a bunch of dresses before I even took my girls with me! I LOVE BL 555, that's my MOH dress....the other is really pretty as well, but I don't think it would be as flattering on a variety of shapes....I think anyone could wear 555. Obviously I'm a tad biased which is the one that you like best?

Which dresses were liked by which people?
I probably would have picked a strapless dress for my girls if I just decided myself, but in the end I let my girls pick. My MOH and a BM were with me looking at wedding gowns and I told them to try on some BM dresses while we were there. They tried on a few and both loved BL 555. It was very very flattering on both of them.
They liked the straps because they are both on the smaller side on top and said they would feel more comfortable w/ a strap. The ruching was very flattering. My other BMs also really liked it when they tried it on to order their dresses.
I don't know what would have happened if I took everyone shopping -- it gets complicated when so many people are involved. It's hard to keep everyone happy.
What were the things they liked and disliked about the dresses? Maybe you can find a dress that is a happy medium between the choices.
Also keep in mind what your girls bodies are like -- a dress might look amazing on some girls but not others. If one dress looks AMAZING on some of your girls but AWFUL on others it's better to go with one that looks GOOD on all of them.

I also only brought 2 of my girls with me ... and they were brutally honest about all the dresses they tried on, while at the same time always telling me that it doesn't matter at all what they like, I have to love it as the bride.
Also wanted to add that now that I've seen the 2 you are considering, I think there are very few people who could pull off the other dress ... I agree that just about anyone could comfortably wear BL 555.

i think you should just pick the one that you like.. I actually idndt really involve my BP in chosing hte dress after whitnessing my best friends experience( shes getting married a week from today)... everyone was making commnets and I just told her to pick the dress that she wants everyone to wear since it;'s her day.. so I think you shoud just pick which one you like the best. ... All of my girls love the dress. or atlest they placate me and tell me the do LOL.. HTH

the more girls there are - the more chances that someone is not going to like the dress you pick - luckily i have 3 girls with amazing bodies who all agreed on a dress - they tried on the dress we all liked in pictures and that ended up being the one....sometimes its not so easy.....if someone doesnt like it im sure they will get over it - id pick the one that you like - because in the end i dont think ive ever met anyone who truly loved the bridesmaid dress they had to wear enough to want to wear it again anyway
