Is this quote way too much?

OK I know it's a little pricey, but how outrageous is it? I just got a quote from the photographer Autumn Lin, i love her work! And her albums were absolutely amazing!!! I'll give you a break down of what's included and then I'll tell you how much. I know it's a lot, but tell me if I'm stupid if I go with her

Seems like a lot to me. You can negotiate and maybe knock at least 40-50% off...

That is quite pricey. I couldn't do it but if you can and you love her work - go for it - it is definetely in the high price range!

Hmm, perhaps slightly...but photographers are always negotiable..I think the best thing to do is to do a comparison with other photographers and get quotes with the same package..

I've met with quite a few photographers and even with video it was never more than $6-$7K...on average...

I know who that is too, her work is soooooooooo nice. I would try to negotiate with her and try to get it for under 10.

try Mariann from Blue Daisy..she has most of the items that you want..except for thank you cards and video..

she's great!!!!! can't wait to start taking pictures with her!

Hi!

It is definatly on the high end but I just saw her website- beautiful work. Photographers do try a bit but I do not think that they will come down in price alot. There prices are their prices they obviously have been booking with that amount anyway and if they don't book your date they will get someone else.

If you feel a connection to their work and you think you can invest that amount go for it!!! Obviously photography is important to you- check out some other photographers as well but go with your gut!

Personally I like indepentdent photographers more than studios I just feel they are more passionate about their work and true 'photodocumentors' (i don't think that is even a word..lol) at heart.

Jonathan Thrasher is based out of Michigan but travels and he is really good, Angelica Glass is fab. My friend who's parents are wedding photographers used Photography by Christos and was extremely pleased with her pictures. And their prices are not as high.

I am a photography whore.. I was goin to get serious about a decision but do to a recent family illness wedding planning is on hold.

I think that is very high, yes you are getting a lot but you can probably find a photographer that will do the same work for around 6-7k

we're paying a lot for AG we aren't getting anything - just her, 1 album and proofs.....so i think that is a great price if you absolutely love the photographer. we would have paid anything to have angelica

I think that price is insane, but if you can do it and love it than go for it. My package is half that with the same stuff except canvas painting. Duet has some really good stuff.

Its high, but you are getting a lot in that figure. A slideshow and videography...I would try to negotiate though.

i think its a bit high. i have seen almost the same thing for about 5-6k and you get access to digital forever (they give you the cd and negatives). however, you cant really put a price on it if you really love her work.
